Food Club Tuna Melt

Elevate your classic tuna Sandwich easily for a twist on a lunch favorite. Find our recommended additions below.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • 1 can Food Club Tuna
  • 1/4 cup Food Club Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbs. Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Handful of sprouts
  • Freshly cut tomato

Instructions:

Start toasting 2 slices of bread in the toaster or in a pan. In a medium bowl, mix tuna, mayo, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Once your toast has finished, layer tomato, tuna mixture and sprouts on top for the ultimate tuna sandwich.

Street Corn Guacamole

What do you get when you combine street corn and guacamole? A to-die-for chip dip that will keep everyone dipping.

What you’ll need:

  • 4 avocados, peeled
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • lime juice of 2 limes
  • 1 can corn
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 3/4 cup cotija cheese

In a large bowl, combine avocados, onion, cloves, tomato, cilantro, salt & pepper and lime juice with a potato masher kitchen tool or something similar. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix together corn, sour cream, chili powder, cayenne and cotija cheese.

Mix half of corn mixture into avocado mixture. Place in serving bowl. Top with other half of corn mixture. Enjoy!

Grilled Cheese Dippers

The perfect snack has finally been created- the Grilled Cheese dipper! To accomplish this delicious and dippable snack, you simply roll and grill your traditional grilled cheese. To make this snack even better, don’t forget the tomato soup for the perfect dipping combo.

Ingredients:

1 loaf white bread

1 pkg. sliced cheddar cheese

1 can tomato soup

Instructions:

Lay two slices of white bread side-by-side on a flat surface and roll to 1/4 inch thick with a rolling pin. Lay a slice of a cheese on top and roll into a pin-wheel shape. If needed, slide a toothpick through each side to hold in place while you grill.

After rolling out the amount you need, heat a frying pan with 2 tbs. of butter over medium heat until butter is fully melted. Lay 3-5 rolled grilled cheese in the pan and rotate 90 degrees after browned and melty until you have grilled the entire roll.

To serve, heat tomato soup through and dip the cheesy grilled cheese dippers. Enjoy!

Food Club Loaded Fry Sauce

The classic dipping sauce with an extra boost of flavor. Try out this zesty Food Club favorite.

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup relish
  • 1 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • kosher salt to taste

Whisk all ingredients together in medium bowl. Enjoy!

DIY Patriotic Candy Poppers

A great activity for this patriotic week–everyone is sure to have a blast making these patriotic candy poppers.

What you’ll need:

  • toilet paper tubes
  • scrapbook or cardstock paper
  • tissue paper
  • ribbon/string
  • candy and confetti
  • adhesive-hot glue gun, glue sticks, double stick tap, glue dots or tape runner
  • scissors

Steps:

1.Measure the length of your toilet paper tubes and cut a strip of scrapbook or cardstock paper to wrap around it. Use adhesive to secure.

2. Cut a piece of tissue paper that will fit inside the toilet paper tube–the circumference. Line the bottom inside edge of the tube with adhesive. Press the tissue paper on adhesive all around the inside circumference. This will the be the tail of your popper.

3. Gather the tissue paper together once adhered to tube and tie with ribbon or string. Cut off excess tissue paper. You only need a few inches of tissue paper below where the ribbon/string is tied.

4. Cut a large half circle out of scrapbook/cardstock paper and roll into a cone. Trim to desired length.

5. Fill tubes with candy and confetti. Line the top edge of toilet paper tube with adhesive and secure cone top onto the tube.

6. When you are ready to celebrate hold the toilet paper tube and pull the tied tissue paper section and POP to get your sweet surprise!

Fruit Sparklers

These fruit sparklers are sure to be the star of your 4th of July festivities. They’re easy to make, and even easier to enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 whole watermelon

16 oz fresh blueberries

Skewers

Instructions:

Slice watermelon into 1 inch thick, vertical slices. Then use a small star shaped cookie cutter to make your shapes. This is possible to achieve from making a star out of a knife, which we wish you luck on this endeavor!

Add about 10 blueberries onto your skewers, and leave a bit of room at the bottom for room to hold.

Add your watermelon star to the top of the skewer and your fruit sparklers are ready to go. Cover and refrigerate for a later snack. Enjoy!

Apple Dips

Peanut Butter Cup Apple Dip

Peanut Butter Apple Dip with Peanut Butter Candies and Apple Slices

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup butter, softened

¼ cup brown sugar, packed

½ cup peanut butter

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

Sliced apples for dipping

Directions

In large bowl, mix butter and cream cheese until smooth and well combined

Add in brown sugar, peanut butter and vanilla extract

Fold in chopped peanut butter cups

Serve dip right away or keep in refrigerator. Allow dip to soften at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving if refrigerated.

Caramel Apple Candy Dip

Apple Dip with Chocolate and Peanut Candy and Apple Slices

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 tablespoons caramel syrup, divided

6 fun size caramel, nougat, and peanut candies, chopped

Sliced apples for dipping

Directions

In large bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and 2 tablespoons caramel syrup until well combined

Fold in half of the chopped Snickers.

Top with remaining Snicker pieces and drizzle on the remaining 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup.

Serve dip right away or refrigerate.

Caramel Apple Toffee Dip

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon milk

½ tablespoon vanilla extract

3 toffee candy bars, crushed

3 tablespoons caramel sauce

Sliced apples for dipping

Directions

In large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, add in powdered sugar and beat until well combined.

Mix in milk and vanilla.

Fold in crushed toffee candy bars and then drizzle caramel sauce on top.

Serve right away or refrigerate.

Food Club Edible Cookie Dough

The best thing about cookies is that the dough is as good as the cookie! Make this edible cookie dough with your pantry staples for a quick and delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

1 cup Food Club brown sugar

1/4 cup Food Club sugar

1 cup Food Club butter, softened

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

2 cups Food Club flour

2 tsp. Food Club milk

1 cup Food Club chocolate chips

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract salt and mix well.

Measure out your flour and heat in the microwave for 1 minute or until it reaches 166 degrees.

Mix the flour into the dough mixture until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Serve chilled or room temp and enjoy!



Potato Packets

These potato packets make a great meal or side dish that you can customize for any pallet. Heat them up in the BBQ or oven and top with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:

1 russet potato

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp. olive oil

1 square foot aluminum foil

Toppings may include cheese, buffalo sauce, sour cream, bbq sauce, chives, chili and more!

Instructions:

Heat your oven to 375 degrees or preheat your grill. Wash and dry the potatoes and slice evenly- about 1/2 inch.

Spread out your aluminum foil and lightly grease it. Add your potatoes, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Wrap your potatoes and give them a good shake so that everything is well coated.

Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. Once they are done, they should be tender. Top with your favorite topping and enjoy!
