If you’re looking for an easy dinner recipe for Easter Sunday, look no further! This easy Crock-Pot ham is simple to make, plus it’s full of juicy deliciousness. Place the ingredients in your Crock-Pot, kick your feet up and enjoy the rest of your Easter Sunday.
- 1 precooked Spiral Cut Ham
- 3 cups Western Family Brown Sugar
- 1 Eight ounce can Western Family Crushed Pineapple
- 3 Cups Maple Syrup
- 3 Cups Pineapple Juice
- Place the ham in the bottom of your Crock-Pot. Pour pineapple juice. Empty can of crushed pineapple over ham. Now, take brown sugar and rub on the sides of the ham. Pour maple syrup to make a glaze. Sprinkle more brown sugar on top. Cover and place on low for 4-5 hours. Baste with juices occasionally.

We don’t count calories on Thanksgiving, birthdays or Super Bowl Sunday! The importance of food at any big game party is one thing both men and women can agree on this Sunday. We don’t want to tell you exactly what to make this Sunday, but you can’t go wrong with burgers, wings, ribs, chips, salsa, guacamole, drinks, shakes and desserts.
Grab festive banners, cutlery and napkins to help your visitors feel the excitement of the big game. Don’t be afraid to use plastic, you’ll thank us when it’s time for cleanup. Decorations, along with a big screen TV and plenty of couch space will secure your spot as the big game destination for years to come.
Remember – Many people watch the big game for the commercials in between the game, so don’t forget to keep it quiet during commercial breaks. Last year, it was estimated that more than 10 million people tuned into the game for the advertisements! If you need to talk, take it to the kitchen.
When your guests arrive, have each individual fill out a game prediction sheet. Ask them who they think will win and what the final score will be. At the conclusion of the game, award the winner of the competition with a silly prize or trophy!
The February 2016 employee spotlight is on Shirlene Yamashiro, Assistant Front End Manager at Sandy Macey’s.
Shirlene has worked at the Sandy Macey’s for 15 years in numerous positions. She has worked as a cashier, Front End Supervisor, Store Trainer and is now the Assistant Front End Manager. Shirlene loves her job and it is evident to all that see her. She is always found with a big smile and a great attitude.
Shirlene loves people and loves to interact with her coworkers and Macey’s guests. She loves the team spirit at Macey’s, works hard to keep that spirit alive. Shirlene always goes above and beyond to help Macey’s guests. A few years ago Shirlene helped an elderly guest out to her car and after the groceries were loaded in the trunk they realized the lady’s keys were locked in the front seat. Shirlene was nice enough to crawl through the pass–through from the trunk to the back seat to rescue the keys.

Did you know there are lots of great ways to cook with your food storage? Try this delicious recipe using Augason Farms buttermilk pancake mix, whole egg powder and sliced strawberries.
What You Will Need:
- 2 ½ cups Augason Farms Buttermilk Pancake Mix
- 1 ¼ cups water
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Augason Farms Whole Egg Powder
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup Augason Farms Sliced Strawberries crushed
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
What You Will Do:
In a large bowl, mix all muffin ingredients together until well blended. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Fill muffin liners 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. While still warm, roll muffin tops in melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
