FAQ

What if a guest is shopping for an elderly person?

They will need to do their shopping during times not set side for the elderly.

What if a family member wants to assist their senior with shopping?

They can assist their senior, but cannot do their own shopping until the designated time.

Why only the elderly?

They are the most at risk for COVID-19 and to help keep this ground safe, we are opening our stores an hour earlier to provide a shopping experience with less exposure to others.

When will Online shopping (Rosie) be available for our elderly and high-risk guests?

We will continue to monitor the store conditions and will resume online orders once we can adequately fulfill orders.

Will we do over the phone orders?

Not at this time.

When will this start?

Thursday morning March 19th

Will we check IDs?

Smith’s is requiring customers to show IDs. We will use our best judgement at the door by asking “are you over 60?” If a guest is turned away and wants to show an ID, they may.

Will nursing home staffs be allowed to come in and shop during senior shopping?

No. This hour is designated to those who are over the age of 60 and are the most at risk for COVID-19.

Regular store limits apply during Senior Shopping Hours.

The pharmacy will be open at 8am to assist guests. We cannot deliver RX curbside.
