Earthquake Safety

We hope everyone is safe following the recent series of earthquakes felt across the Salt Lake Valley. We want to assure you that any of our stores that were impacted are being inspected for safety. We will continue to provide updates as they happen.

There are seven steps to earthquake safety developed by the the Utah Seismic Safety Commission that should be followed before, during and after an earthquake.

Developed by the Utah Seismic Safety Commission, Utah Division of Homeland Security, Utah Geological Survey, University of Utah Seismograph Stations, and the Structural Engineers Association of Utah.

To learn more about being prepared before, during and after an earthquake, read the full “Putting Down Roots in Earthquake Country- Your Handbook for Earthquake in Utah” developed by the Utah Seismic Safety Commission, Utah Division of Homeland Security, Utah Geological Survey, University of Utah Seismograph Stations, and the Structural Engineers Association of Utah.
