It Starts With Breakfast

There’s a reason they call breakfast the most important meal of the day—it sets the tone for the rest of your day. For a nutritious and satisfying breakfast, nutritionists agree that your meal should contain fruits or vegetables, low-fat protein, dairy and whole grains. The protein and whole grains will provide you with the energy you need to get through the morning, while the fiber found in fruits will keep you feeling fuller for longer. This recipe for breakfast success can also help you concentrate and can help keep the kids from bugging you for a snack an hour later!

A great way fill all of these requirements is by making a smoothie. Smoothies are perfect for breakfast because they are quick, totally customizable and portable. We’ve included a few of our favorite recipes to give you some ideas.
