Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

A gift of food storage may be the most thoughtful gift you can give.

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Macey’s and Augason Farms join in wishing you and yours a most delightful and joyous Christmas this year. We know how important the holiday season is for family gatherings, good food and wonderful celebrations.

Indeed, the Christmas season may be the most delightful time of year for most of us. It’s typically not a time we care to consider the woes and ills of the world. So food storage isn’t usually on our mind or at the top of our Christmas list.

But this year, consider this: A gift of food storage may be the most thoughtful gift you can give.

How so? Because food storage offers the promise of security in difficult times, a kind of life insurance, if you will. Of all the gifts one can give, only food storage can provide survival in a time of hardship and difficulty. It can literally be the gift of life.

So here are a few suggestions from Macey’s and Augason Farms for practical food storage gifts that everyone will enjoy receiving, which will be appreciated as no other. These are ideal gifts—starters for those who have little or no food storage or as a complement to any existing food storage.

Choose one of your favorite budget-friendly Augason Farms products to give to family and friends. A single can or kit is inexpensive, and it may get them thinking more seriously about their emergency food storage.

For example, our soup and stew lines are extremely popular, especially on cold winter days.

  • Hearty Vegetable Beef
  • Hearty Vegetable Chicken
  • Cheesy Broccoli
  • Creamy Potato
  • Vegetable Stew Blend

Our ever popular Morning Moo’s Milk Alternative drinks, in regular or chocolate, have all the advantages of regular milk. They are whey-based beverages, formulated to look and taste like regular or chocolate milk. Most people describe them as rich and creamy. They taste great when served chilled.

  • Chili Macaroni with Beef
  • Beef Stroganoff
  • Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Or how about giving one of our “grab-n’-go kits” for emergencies? They are designed to be carried along in the event of an unexpected evacuation.

  • First is the 72 Hour 1-Person Kit. Having a kit handy in the home, office, car, boat or cabin is a wise precaution.
  • Expanded versions are the 12 Day Emergency Food Supply in either the “basic” or “deluxe” versions.

These are practical and inexpensive ideas to introduce family and friends to food storage from Augason Farms, available at all Macey’s stores. Each one is an appropriate, very affordable and ideal Christmas gift. Giving one of these shows you are truly concerned about the welfare of your loved ones.

May your holiday be a joyous one, full of happiness and good cheer. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours from Macey’s and Augason Farms.
